GLSHD cooperated with School Health Department of the Directorate of Education in Hebron, giving informative lectures for high school students, especially males. Lectures were mainly about the harmful effects of smoking, and its negative impact on person's health. These lectures included educational materials and discussion sessions with the students that was held during the two semesters of 2010.

GLSHD teams had designed  and printed posters and  distributed them at the city's main streets. In addition to running advertisements in local radio stations calling for stop of using fireworks in celebrations. As this phenomena contributed to  many disabilities and hand amputation cases of a large group of children. Accordingly, the Governor of Hebron Governorate issued a decision to  ban fireworks use in the city  .
